AIR LIQUIDE has historical presence in Middle East North Africa (MENA) (since 1928: Lebanon) and is now established in the Gulf Region (investment in Qatar, Kuwait and Oman) and Egypt. Companies in UAE and KSA have been recently established to launch activities.

AIR LIQUIDE entered the region, to address the regional need for infrastructure (Pipelines network) upon the request of major State companies, worldwide customers and Industrials Parks Authorities.

AIR LIQUIDE developed successfully business model of long term supply agreement (20 years) in several Gulf States. This outsourcing concept has been proved in Kuwait, Oman and Qatar.

From 2001 till today, AIR LIQUIDE invested more than 300 million $. 

In a context of growing markets, AIR LIQUIDE developed strong position in some key Industrial Clusters ("Basins") of Middle-East: Ras Laffan (Qatar), Mesaieed (Qatar), Shuaiba (Kuwait), Sohar(Oman), Alexandria and Soukhna (Suez)
